I approach each show with the understanding that the objects themselves tell a story. Every small, meticulous detail has an overall impact on the audience's impression of a show, and in my mind, it is imperative that I create pieces that not only stand up to the test of time on-stage, but also leave lasting impressions within the minds of those who choose to watch.​

The accuracy of these objects and proper execution of my dramaturgical research can transform ordinary props into something that can alter someone's preconceived notions of a script or performance. I value the ironic theatricality of it all—the object is really in the eye of the beholder, and as an artist I am nothing without a good spectator.​
